How VeriWins Works
Full transparency on the data we collect, how the AI scores giveaways, and how users participate in the verification loop.
What Data We Collect
- Public post metadata — caption, host handle, post date, media URLs (via official oEmbed / OpenGraph endpoints — no scraping).
- User-submitted evidence — screenshots, DMs, receipts. PII is auto-blurred before storage.
- Account info — email, display name, role (consumer / brand / moderator).
- Activity signals — reports filed, handshakes confirmed, audits requested. Used for Trust Score and fraud prevention.
How We Score "Fake Giveaways"
The Auditor runs a 5-category Compliance check and produces a 0–100 Trust Score with a Traffic-Light status.
- Payment & Fees (CRITICAL). Any fee request → score forced to 0, status Critical Risk.
- Legal Disclosure. Official rules, "No purchase necessary", platform release present?
- Entry Logic. Are entry steps clear and reproducible? Random or arbitrary winner selection?
- Eligibility. Age, geography, residency disclosed?
- Platform Release. Disclaimer that Instagram / TikTok / X is not a sponsor.
- Community Signal. Verified wins boost score (+3 each, capped); reports reduce score (–5 each, capped).
